How credential verification works
Scan the QR code on a credential — or enter its reference — and the IVQA page shows who issued it, what it is and whether it is still valid.
Five steps, a few seconds
No app, no account, no phone call to the issuer.
The three most common results
Examples with fictional data.
Valid — registered by the organization shown and in force today.
Revoked — the issuing organization has withdrawn it.
Not found — the code or reference is not registered with IVQA.
Only what a verifier needs
The public page shows the essential details of the credential and its current status — nothing from the issuer's workspace.
- The issuing organization
- The credential — for example the diploma or badge title
- The holder, as registered by the issuer
- The issue date and the IVQA reference
- The current status, set by the issuer

You decide what the page says
Only your authorized users validate, suspend or revoke a credential. The public page follows immediately, and your verification logs show every check.
How does verification work?
A unique QR code / reference is linked to a public verification page showing key information (issuer, holder, document type, issue date) and current status.
What does the public verification page show?
It shows the essential credential details and the current status (e.g., Valid / Revoked), so third parties can confirm authenticity in seconds.
Do I need an app or an account to verify?
No. A phone camera or any browser is enough: scan the QR code or enter the reference on the public verification page.
What if a code is invalid or not found?
Double-check the code and try again. If it still fails, contact the issuing organization or IVQA support so we can investigate.
Have a credential to check?
Open the public verification page and scan the QR code or enter the reference.
